Dr parsa oculoplastic12/28/2023 I had previously underwent surgery with another doctor and had awful results. He is not only a master in his field but also an artist with a scalpel. Parsa is far and beyond the best surgeon anyone can be lucky enough to find. I pray that God continues to give you strength to help people who truly need life-changing medical procedures. Thank you again for your patience, time, concern, and overall care. My parents are also very grateful since this was my 14th surgery. I have not felt this comfortable in years. I would also like to let you know how pleased I am with the results of the surgery. You will never know how appreciative I am of that. Besides from that, your continuous generosity made me confident that you were the right doctor for the task at hand. The fact that you are not pushy and gave me the time and space to make the decision on my own allowed me to prepare myself mentally and emotionally, that really made a difference. As you know, I was apprehensive about having further surgery, but you are and have been reassuring and confident in the type of procedure you would perform in order to fix my eyelid from the beginning. I am deeply grateful for you, for your generosity and caring nature as pertaining to my medical condition. Words cannot express how thankful and appreciative I am to have found you. Children especially need sustainable hope, and our goal is to provide them with necessary medical and surgical care, helping them to grow into a brighter future.” Kami Parsa, MD Our mission is to make people’s lives a little better in situations that otherwise may not seem possible. When I moved back to California, I helped to establish the Surgical Friends Foundation. These encounters have been instrumental in my growth as a physician and person. It has been a humbling experience to work with such incredible people. Through this organization I met exemplary people who have dedicated themselves to a lifetime of service and charity. My initial involvement was with International Kids Foundation at University of Miami. There are too many areas of the world and in our own country that do not have access to adequate medical care. This is the true passion that continues to drive me professionally and personally, and I feel so fortunate that I can work and make a difference as a surgeon. “I have always believed that one of the most important things you can do with this life is serve others.
